- [Instructor] The reason the back command works in a web browser, is that the program remembers where you've been. This history is maintained, memorized by modern browsers, and it's a source of concern for many users. Specifically, how to edit or clear this browsing history. Here in the popular Chrome web browser, the history command is found on the three dot menu, history, history. The keyboard shortcut in Windows is control H. Different web browsers use different methods to access the history. In Microsoft's Edge web browser, it's the favorite icon, and then history, and I don't use Edge that much, so there's not really much history here. When you seek to remove a page from the history in Chrome, check the box by the page you want to delete, and then you click the delete button. You can also select multiple pages to delete them.
