- Wifi connections are becoming the dominant type of connection between the PC and the corporate network as well as the internet in both the home and the office. So, it's likely that system administrators going forward will be troubleshooting wireless issues just as much if not more than wired ones. One of the most common reasons that a wireless computer cannot connect is they don't have an IP address and that could be because they can't find a DHCP server or because there's some other problem with the wireless card being able to communicate with the SSID of the WiFi access point.
