- So as a data scientist, to communicate your ideas clearly, you have to be really comfortable with all sorts of communication tools in a modern workplace. That includes everything from good old-fashioned email to Slack, git, random AWS services, as well. All those are super critical. In the current evolving world with Slack and Teams and those kinds of things, it might be tempting to think that email is a dying dinosaur, but the reality is that we have a very wide demographics of people, and each of those generations are used to a different way of communicating.
