- [Narrator] By now, you know that CCPA is in effect and you have to show you're compliant. So how do you demonstrate compliance to regulators if they request information about your practices? Let's go over some key areas you need to be able to show them. First, you need to demonstrate that the organization has accountability for complying. This can be shown through board level and executive support, such as education sessions, where you've advised on risks and benefits and obtained support. Having documented roles and responsibilities shows accountability, as well, by indicating you have resources assigned to this important work. Next, you should consider having a documented gap analysis that shows what your current practices are, what you've covered, where the gaps are, and what you're planning for remediation of those gaps.
