- [Instructor] So let's look at the components of edge based systems. Ultimately we have the sensors. And these are entering thing that exists as the ability to look at something, either optically sensing temperature, sensing humidity, sensing location anything that can come in as a data point into the edge based computer. For example, in your car, you have many sensors that exist around the car to detect when it could potentially get into an accident and automatically apply your brakes, or when you're about to back up and there's somebody in a parking lot, and those are helpful. The edge device or the edge computer into itself is going to have a certain amount of features including storage, the ability to support compute systems. And typically those are low end processors but they're getting faster all the time and the ability to do things such as machine learning. So, these days we can not only store information or data…
