- The basic process for an analytics project really starts with identifying the problem. And this problem can come internally from within your team or from a business stakeholder. And it's not just saying hey, this is the question, it's really understanding the question itself, the desired outcome, and then how it's going to be used. Once you have the problem at hand, you need some data. And so you start to identify what data do we have, what data don't we have, and building assumptions around that data itself. So we're going to only include the past three years and exclude everything from March 13th, 2020 and onward because of whatever outside environment factors there are. So after you identify the data, you actually need to gather it. So to gather data, it could be done by yourself, depending on your team, or you might have to work with an engineer or data engineer and say, here's the data I need and here's the state I…
