- [Instructor] If your app collects private data, you'll be in a constant tug-of-war between satisfying your users' privacy requirements and enabling your developers to access the data that the app needs in order to function. Fortunately, you can rely on data anonymization to help you strike a healthy balance. And when you anonymize data, you look for any identifying characteristics within that data, and then you either replace them with random values or you remove them entirely.
