- [Instructor] To fully understand the information that's being shown to us on a dashboard, we want to always keep in mind that we need to know the source of the data, how often the data is being updated on the view, as well as any other information that may be relevant to the calculations and models being presented on the dashboard. Here we can see on the lower corner of the view. The last updated date is 8/16/2020, or August 16, 2020. That means that the visualization, as well as the metrics and numbers that we are viewing on this dashboard is based on data that was last updated on this date. Next to last updated date, you can also see that there is information about the data. We can scroll by going to the right side and using the scroll button, but an easier way to view this information is to click on the circle on the upper right corner.
