- [Instructor] When we talk about decision applications, what I really mean is having a system that makes an automated decision. This is a pretty vague term. It could also be replaced with the word computer if you really think about it. There are a number of different tools and methods that are available. What is probably more common is people talking about how difficult the path to production is. In part, this can be caused by how new systems need to be created. And in part it's also due to not really understanding how to make something new. This is a general problem in machine learning and something that's improving day by day. As new open source packages are released and as AI becomes a bigger part of our lives, there are more options to be able to implement this change. Soon, these will form a shared standard or at least an easier path to putting these systems into practice and production. The question then comes…
