Display a value as currency
- [Lecturer] We are going to continue work on our app. And we're here on the browse screen. When we take a look at the three fields on our browse screen, we have the account, status and the revenue. But when we go ahead and look at this list in SharePoint, we see that the revenue is listed as currency, but it's not here in power apps. So what we want to do is change that we want to make this be listed as currency and not just a number. So to do that, we're going to click on that field. We're going to click right on it. And if we come up here to the property field, you'll see, it says text, it's reading this field as a text string. That's why it didn't bring that formatting in. To change this, we need to go here to our formula bar and we're going to click right in front of the word, this item. And we're going to type in value because we have to wrap this in a value. So we're going to type VAL and there's our value. And…
