- [Narrator] I spend a lot of time talking about simplifying ideas, all about reducing and limiting and narrowing the focus and I stand by that 100%, less is always better. Complex ideas sometimes require complexity to explain. When in doubt, reduce and simplify and limit, but don't run from complexity when it's required. I've shown this example other places in this course. This is an example of an academic project, looking at data from Boston's subway system, which is the fourth busiest subway system in the United States. So there's a lot of data to look at, and this is complex, there's a lot, a lot, a lot going on here. I have, you know, this particular section, you know, every 15 minutes of time vertically, I have every single station in the system, every single train in the system.
