- [Instructor] Now keep in mind, edge management, which is extremely important, is something that's a bit more complex but needs to be understood if you're going to architect and build edge computing systems. So edge management is made up of a few things. Number one, the ability to deal with abstraction or a single pane of glass. So the idea with an edge management system is that we're in essence looking at many different physical things, many different devices, many different instances of compute that sits on a cloud, many different sensors, through one portal or one view of these things where the representation of the hardware and the applications and the data is simplified for managers to use. And in turn, we're able to talk to clouds as well as different devices.
