- [Instructor] So, let's look at an example of edge computing. Connected motorcycle, we'll say this is a device that we're creating that allows us to, in essence, drive motorcycles more safe because we're able to, in essence, gather information from the motorcycle itself, as well as the rider. So, we have sensors that do that. In this case, we have sensors that gather information from the engine. Sensors that gather information from the behavior of the rider or how the rider rides the bike or biometrics, what pressure, O2 saturation, heart rate, things like that. Then we're going to have an on-bike edge computer. So, it's going to be a small device, typically the size of a Raspberry Pi or an Android computer that allows us to do very sophisticated things and can do so either connected to the back end centralized processor or do so autonomously on the motorcycle.
