- [Narrator] If a laptop features a touchscreen, it might help you to activate Tablet Mode. So to summon the Action Center, swipe in from the far right edge of the screen. Choose Tablet Mode tile. The desktop changes to be more hospitable to touch input as opposed to using something precise like a mouse. So items to note on the screen are the Keyboard icon which helps you provide input. Tap the settings icon to choose a different keyboard layout and you can tap the X button to dismiss the keyboard. You can also use this button here, the left arrow button which is the back button, it can back you out of certain types of activities. In the upper-left, third from the top, you find the All Apps button. Tap this button to see a list of apps which you can swipe up or down.
