- [Instructor] The concept around edge computing is federated architectures, are basically a collection of things that form units that are able to achieve a common goal. So we have Edge App A, Edge App A's data, Edge App A's cluster manager, Edge App A's knowledge base, and Edge App A's security manager. So keep in mind that the devices, the edge nodes, the micro clouds, public clouds, everything that's involved in this particular federation are able to work together even though they're decoupled and run independently. So Edge App A could run on its own device, or run on its own server, or run on its own process in the cloud. Same with that Edge App A data that can be stored other on the device, in the cloud are in the micro cloud. Then we're able to leverage something as a cluster manager that's able to allow these various federated instances of themselves to scale, and then able to leverage a knowledge base such as an…
