- It's hard to know what you want. I mean, I don't even know if I know what I want fully all of the time still. And if you're uncertain, whether you want to go down that technical skillset path or the leadership and people management that's okay. The best thing you can do is be open and say, hey, I'm not sure what I want to do. Can I get a few tasks or paths that I can try out. If you're not sure about the technical side, maybe it's, hey, I'd really like to work on this project and focus on building a model out and trying out a new algorithm or a new programming base or whatever it might be. If you can spend that time just practicing that it might help you decide is this what I want to do on the other side?
