Getting feedback
- I've worked with datasets in a science background, working with genomic DNA data and education data, and those are very different datasets and very different analysis tools are used to look at them and they produce outcomes that are very different from each other. But the one thing that both of them benefit from are having a lot of perspectives wrapped into the analysis, really working hard at collaborating with different folks at all levels of an organization to get the most insight into them possible, and also, to expose analysis to feedback and peer review is really important because we are one person, we are not perfect and we will make mistakes and there are better ways of doing things, and the only way we will get that information is by presenting our work to others and being open to hearing feedback from them.
