- [Instructor] Global policies. There is no single global policy around the use and implementation of AI. In fact, there's no single policy that looks over all information technology, but there are different guidelines and standards that can be applied generally. And I say generally since the details are usually overlooked and it can be hard to find the right person in an organization to contact and find out more. In some ways, it would be ideal to have a global policy, but that would obviously be very difficult to get everyone on the same page together. Companies do trade across borders, but it's important to understand exactly where your data is being stored, being used, and what your rights are. I have a separate course which gives a bit more background about this. For this example, I can walk through some global policies that have had a large effect recently.
