On the right, we see a traditional approach to secure organizations. Within the network, there is a recognized level of trust. So the thought is we're inside the network so everyone here is safe or are they. Let's go back to 2015 where there was a major security breach in the United States office of personnel management. This was a widely publicized breach that affected the personally identifiable information of over 22 million individuals that had some connection to the organization. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that malicious actors had gained access to the network using stolen credentials.
