- At my job as a system engineer, I work with data scientists to enable the proper decision-making process. Their ability to present the information in a clear, succinct way it really enables me and other decision-makers to do the right decision. You can trust the data with a simple rule that I actually follow all the time which is seeing is believing. And so as a data scientist, a good advice I would have for anybody is to instead of talking about Excel spreadsheets and kind of crunching through those numbers, a simple graph or simple imagery will go a long way in convincing not just your system engineers, or your boss, or your external teams, but seeing is believing can really drive a lot of trust in the data science process flow, as well as the value.
