- [Instructor] Traffic flow problems don't always happen from the inside out or the outside in from a LAN to a WAN. They also happen between different subnets or VLANs inside the local area network. As we can see here, we have two different computers that want to communicate with each other, and they're using a core L3 switch, which means it's a layer three switch, and it's capable of inter-VLAN routing. And we see the two different VLANs. We see one nine two, one six eight dot one, as well as dot two on VLAN 2. And those VLANs can communicate with each other if everything's set up correctly between the two computers, as well as the layer three switch. Let's see if we can get these two computers to communicate with each other. I'm going to do an IP config to see what IP address we have.
