- [Instructor] It's pretty amazing how much we've learned about IP addressing already. It's also pretty amazing how important all of this is. Isn't it for networking today? I thought it would help out, this point for us to just go ahead and take a look at a typical small office, home office network environment and put these IP addressing components in place so we can see them clearly. Notice this is really typical. We have the internet out there and we have a wireless router that is going to be the key for our small office, home office in order to achieve internet access. Inside the small office, home office, we've got a laptop, a network based printer, we've got a computer and we've got a smart device otherwise known as a smart phone. So if we drop in the addressing, we can see that all four of these client devices are sure enough in the 192.168.1 network and notice the mask is 255.255.255.0. So that's how I…
