Identifying challenges of data visibility
- [Narrator] Today's networks and organizations have expanded and become more complex as we see in this graphic. Network visibility is critical. However, we face many challenges of monitoring hosts on the network, in the cloud, branch offices, and remote users. An end-to-end view of the health and status of your network will enhance your ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly respond to threats. To get an idea of how this works, I downloaded and installed and ran the Advanced IP Scanner on my own network. And you can get a copy here. Once the scan is complete, you're able to visualize all the hosts on your network. You can also install the remote admin tools where you can have even more control. You can edit a comment. For example, put the date here that the software is up to date. And then once you've identified a host that doesn't belong, you can shut them down. Threat management systems work in a similar…
