- [Narrator] Now that you have your initial list of business processes in hand, it's time to confirm the information that you gathered during your brainstorming by interviewing other employees who possess information about both the business processes that use PII, and the technology systems and applications that handle that PII. These interviews are where you convert your initial inventory into a detailed road map. We'll approach these interviews in two phases. First, we'll talk to the functional employees from departments responsible for business processes that use PII. When those interviews are complete, we'll turn to the technologists involved in maintaining those business processes and the systems and applications that support them.
