Prepare for the CompTIA A+ Core 2 (220-1002) exam. Explore portable computing topics, such as connecting to the internet, managing power, and maintaining mobile devices.
- Hey, everybody. It's Mike Meyers welcoming you to Cert Prep: 7, Portable Computing Security and More. This the seventh of eight courses, which collectively will help you pass the CompTIA A+ Core 2 (220-1002) exam. Now when it comes to portable computer security, a big issue is actually understanding how these different portable devices work. So, we're going to be touring Android, we're going to be touring iOS. We're going to be getting into these operating systems that we use on mobile devices to make sure we understand how they work, as well as some of their security features. Also, we're going to be getting into how we actually secure these devices. How we can lock them down, so that we can protect not only the systems but the users who need them. Now if you're following along on my McGraw-Hill A+ book, you might want to be watching chapters 23, 24, and 25.
