IoT and mobile

- [Instructor] In addition to the ease of bringing in new libraries, which may siphon up your information, mobile devices are crazy full of sensors, crazy full. Do you know an iPhone has a barometer in it to measure air pressure? It helps with location accuracy by measuring altitude. That's on top of accelerometers, GPS, cameras, microphones, ambient light sensors, and Lord knows what else. Each of these sensors is better than you'd expect and getting better, faster than you expect. Sensors are now so cheap that it's easier to include them in hardware packages than to have two separate skews, and so they end up in everything. That means you need to be thoughtful about what permissions you ask for and what permissions you provide. It only makes sense.
