- It's important when you are writing code to use a system that works for you. And this will look different depending on how your teams are structured and how your teams write code together, if you do. In my current role, I don't collaboratively write code. Most of the code I write is written in a Jupyter Notebook. Jupyter Notebook is a really great way to write your code and also keep track of all the various steps you're taking in a visually attractive way. You can use markdown to mark it where different sets are taking place. And you can test your code in the browser that you're using to write it. So it's a very quick way of working through a dataset and getting information about what things might be inconsistent in your dataset and the steps you can take to clean it effectively before you write a full Python script and implement it on its own.
