- [Instructor] Websites aren't the only targets for denial of service attacks. Other services, such as the File Transfer Protocol, FTP, are internet-facing, and so also at risk of being attacked. I'll use my Windows 10 machine, it's IP address 10.0.2.15, as the target for this attack. I've installed a small FTP server, version 0.99. This is a very simple FTP server and it doesn't require any configuration. I'll press the start icon to activate the server. Okay, it's now listening for incoming connections. I've got a terminal window open in Kali, so let's connect to the FTP service using Telnet. Telnet 10.0.2.15, space 21. Okay.
