- [Instructor] Organizational security policies are often influenced by laws, regulations, and industry standards. This is true both on-premises and working with IT systems in the cloud. So, public cloud provider tools such as the Amazon Web Services Artifact tool can help you identify any security compliance issues. So, data privacy then means that we have to consider laws and regulations in terms of how we use cloud-based services and how we deal with the resultant data from the use of those systems. So, some security standards will only apply to specific industries such as to the financial industry. So, what we need to do in many cases is we need to have a way to demonstrate that the appropriate cloud security controls are in place.
