Locating troubleshooting tools

- [Instructor] Windows comes with an abundance of troubleshooting tools. Tools that can help you monitor system performance and help resolve certain issues and one central location for finding these tools is the system configuration utility. Press the Windows and R keyboard shortcut to pop up the run dialogue box and type in MS config, M-S C-O-N-F-I-G, press Enter. The system configuration utility also called MS config helps diagnose startup issues, changing the way Windows begins its day. Here on the boot tab, you can click this box to direct Windows to restart in safe mode, itself a handy way to troubleshoot and determine whether a problem is with Windows itself or some other program. Over on the tools tab however, you find the list of troubleshooting utilities. From about Windows to the appropriately named Windows troubleshooting tool, these programs and more can help determine what's going wrong with your computer…
