Managing users and groups

- [Instructor] In order to allow people to access resources on the server, we can create user accounts for them to use to connect, and we can organize those accounts into groups for easier management. Here in the web interface, I'll click on Accounts, and I see the Groups and Users sections. Under Groups, I can see the groups already defined on the system, and I can add others, too. Let's create two groups called marketing and engineering. Up in the top right, I'll click Add, and then for each group I'll type a name. I can change the group ID number if I want to, but for my purposes, the automatically-generated ID is fine. I can also set whether the group members are allowed to use the superuser's privileges. This can be a useful option to set if you're creating an administration group to provide more than one user the ability to make changes to the system.
