- [Instructor] I recall when I first got into the IT industry, the biggest problem I had was being able to see the overall network and all the devices that are in it and how they work together. It took at least a couple of years before someone finally explained all the different parts to me where it all made sense. And I hope to do that here for you as well. All these years later, there's a lot more different devices and things are a lot more complicated, but it's still really a great idea to have an overall view of what you're looking at in your network closet, or your network operating center, or wherever it is that you keep all of your devices.
