- [Instructor] In some ways at the moment, we're really lucky. With machine learning, not only are the top tools that are used in leading companies mainly open-source and available online, but we can also replicate methods from research papers, and in some cases, even apply these to the same or similar data sets. On top of that, there are options who use free cloud computing, which when combined with the above means that it's possible to replicate methods that are being used in these top companies. It's pretty amazing, and also very hard to keep up with as well. The main two languages used for analysis are available to access. These are Python and R, and they're open-source, which means that they can be used for all ranges of commercial and non-commercial projects.
