- [Instructor] In the same way that open-source analysis tools have made it easier than ever to create new data science projects, there's been a number of new tools available to actually help communicate the findings of the work. In some ways, this can be just as important as the technical work. And I understand, there might be a lot of people that disagree with me on this, but it's important to be able to inform people about what you've been able to do. In terms of visual design, there are a number of packages that are open for you today. Some can be open-source graphic design tools; some can be free cloud-based tools; and others can be commercial products that offer discounted plans for groups that are doing data for good projects. For this example, I could just focus on the free-use plotting tools, and it's a good opportunity to highlight an instance where Python and R share a common tool, Matplotlib, based off…
