Operational repudiation

- [Narrator] How many times have you heard a developer say, "It works for me!" Repudiation doesn't need to be about messages or communications. It can be about operational issues, how the software works on this computer or that one. That might be about the code itself. It might also relate to a library or configuration file that wasn't checked in. One of the reasons we have software build the software that runs the business is that we can track and manage these issues. Repudiation can also be about a process like package delivery. Which brings up another important part of repudiation, "It's not my fault." More importantly, it might be nobody's fault. Repudiation can be about a mistake or an oversight.
