As the tally bills visible in the lower left corner of the screen, you see that this system has thousands if not hundreds of thousands of files, all these files are organized into folders which avoids the obnoxious situation of having everything in a single location. Organization is required to keep files in order. I'm going to navigate to my home account here on this computer and in this folder, you see a sampling of how file organization can work with folders. Many of these folders are pre-created by Windows and they're named according to the items you might place into them. So documents for general storage, music for audio and music files, pictures for images and graphics and videos for movies and whatever.
