- [Instructor] You can record your slideshow for posterity but more importantly for consistent playback at any time. Ensure that your computer has a microphone attached and optionally, a video camera. After creating the slideshow and preparing your thoughts. Click the Slideshow tab and choose Record Slideshow. The screen changes. What's recorded is in this center part. This control activates the microphone. And if a camera is present, which it's not on this system, you can activate it here and control an onscreen video display of yourself here. Drawing tools are available along the bottom and the main controls are in the upper left corner of the screen here. Click the record button to start recording the slideshow, your voice, and if you have a camera attached to the computer and activated, you can record self video.
