- [Instructor] The last thing you want is for your laptop to get pinched. To keep it safe, you can practice security for the laptop's digital contents as well as for the laptop physically. In Windows, ensure that you have password-protect account. I'll assume that you already use a password-protected account. You can add biometric security, such as a fingerprint reader, if your laptop has such hardware. Windows Hello is a feature that provides multiple secure sign in options. To access these options, press the Windows+I keyboard shortcut to open the Settings app, choose Accounts, Sign-in options, and here are the items you can use to sign in to your laptop, many of which provide a higher level of security.
