Remote teams
- Working remotely presents a whole new set of challenges that working in the office doesn't have. So for example, Slack is way more important than it used to be. And that's a good thing, 'cause we're keeping in touch and we can communicate clearly. One of the big challenges of working remotely is staying in touch with the people that you need to depend on. So using the tools that's available to you, make sure that's a priority and also make sure you still have fun via those communication channels. 'Cause that in the person fun is missing from remote work. Working with remote data scientists presents some challenges because you tend to have these problems that don't require a day to day attention. That said, ultimately what you want to do is develop trust between your coworkers. So building up on that trust, it's critical.
