Repairing an Office installation

- [Instructor] Like any software, Office can present frustrating problems. Familiar items can be missing from the screen, and the program becomes sluggish, or it may not run at all. In these times of duress, consider repairing the Office installation. So open the Settings app, I'll do so from the Start menu, choose the little icon there, then choose Apps, and then scroll through the list to find your Office installation. Now I'm using Office 365. And it's up here somewhere. There it is. And click the Modify button after selecting the item in the list. If you're prompted with a UAC warning, grant permission to go ahead. Two options are presented, quick repair and online repair. Now I recommend trying quick repair first, which is selected, so just click this repair button. I'm not going to do it here. And then continuing obeying the onscreen prompts as Office attempts to fix itself. It this approach doesn't work,…
