- [Instructor] Some Windows 10 keyboard shortcuts are immensely useful. For example, press and hold the Windows key and tap I to bring up the Settings app. Windows + E opens a File Explorer window. And Windows + A opens the Action Center. You can also choose Windows + D to display the desktop. And then Windows + D again to restore the desktop. These are extremely useful, but some Windows keyboard shortcuts, however, can be annoying or frustrating, especially when they unexpectedly activate a Windows feature. One of the most common is pressing the Shift key five times. One, two, three, four, five. Doing so activates the Sticky Keys feature, which isn't as intrusive as it once was. So rather than pop up an onscreen message and distract you, the notification area grows a new icon here. Sticky Keys assist with typing keyboard combinations separately so that you can use the Control key and then S separately, as opposed to pressing both simultaneously, which is one of Windows accessibility…
