- [Instructor] Microsoft Office applications are configured to use the default printer, that's the one set by Windows. So from the File tab you choose Print, and what you see here is the default printer, which is shown in the list. You can click the big Print button and your document will be sent off to this specific printer in no time. You can also use the quick print button if it's available on the quick access toolbar, and then the document prints instantly sent to that default printer. For a review, you choose the default printer in the Settings app, which is a Windows thing. Press the Windows + i keyboard shortcut to bring up the Settings app, choose Devices, Printers and Scanners. Here you see the default printer flagged as such. To choose another printer, you can select it, click the Manage button, and choose Set as default. Back out, and now you see that the new printer is set as the default.
