- [Instructor] Your end users will have expectations about how your app performs, and the need for metrics to measure that performance is paramount. The way we measure that performance is defined in our service-level objectives and service-level agreements. When you move a business process into a new application, or when a customer signs up for a new online service, the people who now depend on that service have expectations of availability and performance. You probably have those same expectations of your cloud service providers. If you plan to host an app in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, you're placing your trust in those providers that their services will be there when you need them.
