- [Instructor] Finally I will now review the chapter where we went over text-based curation files. So this chapter ended up being like the junk drawer, or grab-bag of curation. I threw everything that didn't fit in the other chapters here. And admittedly there are some of the weirdest and hardest to explain curation files. But let's see if I can get all the ideas to connect. First I talked to you about standardized code. I know, I know. I hate it when someone tells me to clean up my code too. So I pointed out the two situations where you really need to standardize your code. And that's when building an analytic dataset for a study, which you can probably do all by yourself. Or when setting up ETL protocols for a big ole data warehouse. You won't be doing that alone, I guarantee. But you can see why standardized code in those cases would serve as also curation because it documents an officialized business process. So…
