- [Instructor] I'm going to take a deeper look at Windows Defender Firewall on a client as well as on a server and take a look at how we can set up specific custom rules to allow or block traffic based on our desires. So I'm going to go to the search box and type in control panel, and I'm going to open that up. And I'm going to go over to Programs and Features. And on my Windows 10 computer, I'm going to turn on a Windows feature, and that's going to be the Telnet Client. And we just check that box. And what that allows me to do is I can then test a port on another computer. It doesn't matter if it's a Windows 10 computer or a Windows server. I can see, if a port is open, if it's a TCP port. So now I'll go into a command prompt, and then I can type the word Telnet to the name of the computer or IP address that I want to test, followed by the port. So I'll use port 445, hit Enter, and we see that everything turns…
