Understanding Quick Access

- [Instructor] Press the Windows + e keyboard shortcut to bring up a File Explore window, and you see the Quick Access folders. Some of these items are set by Windows, and the list of recent files is updated as you work. But you control the items here in the Quick Access frequent folders area. These folders might also be duplicated on the navigation bar, if you have that displayed as well. To add a favorite or commonly used folder from the list, browse to locate it. I'll choose my Current Project folder. Right-click on the folder, and choose Pin to Quick Access. The folder is added. You may see it right away, here on the Quick Access navigation pane, and if you don't see this pane, click the View tab, and choose Navigation Pane, and select this item so that it shows up. Let's review the Quick Access list, and here's my Current Project folder. Now, to remove an item from the Quick Access folder, right-click on it, and choose Unpin from Quick Access.
