Using pins for popular files

- [Instructor] This is a pin. It's used in Windows in various applications to keep items in place. These items include programs on the taskbar and files on a recently opened file list. Pins help keep popular items handy. I'd like to show you three locations where pins come in handy. First, here in Excel's start screen, you see the recently opened files but also the Pinned tab. Here are the files I use often, pinned to keep them handy. If I go to the Open screen, say, I want to keep, oh, this file handy. All I need to do is click the pin, and the file is pinned, meaning that it'll show up on that pin tab and always be available. Second, here is a file explorer window. This window always opens in the Quick access view. Quick access displays recently opened files and folders, and here are the top, many of these items are pinned to keep them handy.
