What you should know
- [Narrator] Before starting this course, there are a few things that will be helpful to know. It's a good idea to have a high level understanding of DevOps. For example, having a basic understanding of what makes a team DevOps, and how it is different from being agile. It will also be helpful to have general information security experience. Grasping concepts like what is application security, and how does it differ from network security and cloud security is useful. Lastly, you don't have to be a scripting expert but being familiar with running commands from the terminal will be needed during this course. Now I'm going to run you through all the tools needed for this course If you don't want to run the demos yourself, feel free to skip installing the tools. The first tool that we'll install on our machine is python. Make sure that you have downloaded and installed a version of python specific to your operating system.…
