- [Instructor] This is an introductory course on malware. In our search, you don't need to have any specific pre-knowledge of the subject. However, it is a practical course. And during this course, I'll be using Linux-based testing tools and the Kali testing framework, as well as introducing some new tools. I'll be working at the assembler level, so knowing the basics of x86 assembler would be useful. You'll need to have a working knowledge of Kali and some hands-on experience of ethical hacking to get the most out of the course. Pentesting is a challenging pursuit. You should be competent in Windows and Linux host technologies, as well as having a good grasp of network protocols. You should also be very persistent.
