- [Instructor] The COVID-19 Dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University is very useful for getting updates on the number of reported cases and for keeping track of the changes in the rate of infection. However, the usefulness of any dashboard is dependent on what information is available. Before selecting a dashboard, you'll want to take into account how you intend to use the information and whether certain functionalities may be helpful for analyzing the data. Different dashboards can provide different features, such as search and filters, and that can be helpful moving forward, as data gets more complex, or if you expect that your analysis will require better tools in the future.
